It breaks The Fate Of The Furious’ trailer record
Dominic Toretto, watch out for Pennywise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the creepy advertisement for the Stephen King adaptation released earlier this week collected more views over the course of 24 hours than any prior trailer, an honor previously held by the trailer for The Fate Of The Furious. (It racked up 197 million, edging out Fate’s 139 million.) Fate had previously assumed the crown from Beauty And The Beast, so we guess that means terrifying clowns are more powerful than both makeshift families bound together by their love of fast vehicles and Disney romances. Or perhaps It simply capitalized on the same nostalgia factor harnessed by Stranger Things.
