It’s a celebration of all things dog-related in The Bottle Rockets’ new music video

Everyone loves dogs—or, more specifically, everyone should love dogs. They’re cuddly and fun, and sometimes their ears are soft. They keep you warm in the winter, and when they poop inside, they generally at least appear to feel really badly about it.

That kind of dog love is the topic of a new video from one of the prides of alt-country Missouri, The Bottle Rockets. In the clip for “Dog,” everyone from Neko Case and Carlene Carter to Hot Water Music’s Chuck Ragan and Murder By Death steps out with their favorite pooches, making the entire clip one solid parade of human-canine adorableness. As the Bottle Rockets’ frontman Brian Henneman notes, “‘Dog’ is as simple as it sounds… It’s just a celebration of how the least complicated things in life can be as great as anything else.”

The Bottle Rockets’ latest record, South Broadway Athletic Club, is available for purchase now via Bloodshot Records.
