It’s Rumor Time: Oh, so now Sean Spicer likes SNL
Now that he’s managed to outwit the genie that gave him his wish to become a household name, but with a catch, Sean Spicer is eager to capitalize on his newfound notoriety. That’s according to a nameless source in airport-favorite celebrity rag US Weekly, whose “insider” states in a suspiciously editorially consistent tone that “he is asking people about getting on—it was his idea!” The insider goes on to say, “He asked someone he knows that is close to a cast member to help him … he criticized SNL before, but he’s changed his tune. He wants to make a cameo!”
This is probably just another rumor along the lines of Spicer joining Dancing With The Stars, an offer that Spicer ultimately declined. But, oh, would that it were true. Spicer did concede that some of Melissa McCarthy’s jokes about him were pretty funny in a post-resignation interview with Sean Hannity, but “there’s a lot of it that was over the line. It wasn’t funny. It was stupid, or silly, or malicious.” Perhaps falling out of the clown car that is the Trump administration has changed his perspective on what’s silly and malicious?
