As we’ve done for the past dozen years or so, The A.V. Club has put together the most banginest SXSW-adjacent party of the season. As always, it is free and open to the public, but you’ve gotta RSVP. This year‘s shindig will take place on Monday, March 13 at Mohawk in Austin, with music for your ears from roughly 4 p.m. until midnight. We’ve convinced new and old friends to play for you, led by Sylvan Esso, who a little bird told us will have cool news for you soon. Also: SOHN, the brilliant Brit behind “Lessons.” And Chicago hip-hop up-and-comer Noname. And Minneapolis’ firebrand Lizzo. And A.V. Undercover vets Mothers, Chrissy & Hawley, Split Single, and Adam Torres. Oh man, there’s more? Bash & Pop featuring Tommy Stinson of The Replacements? Yes, it’s all true. The whole flyer is below.
