It’s Zelda Week on Gameological

February 21 marks the 30th anniversary of The Legend Of Zelda’s original Japanese release, and to celebrate the occasion, Gameological is devoting the upcoming week to all things Zelda. Each day, we’ll have a new article exploring the history and evolution of Nintendo’s seminal fantasy series. It all starts today with a look at Zelda’s best one-legend items—the weird, memorable pieces of equipment that, for one reason or another, only appeared in a single game. Later in the week, we’ll discuss the alternate, possibly superior ending to A Link To The Past that appears in the game’s comic adaptation, as well as the symbolism in Link’s clothing and the evolution of Princess Zelda’s character.
