It's Rumor Time: Michelle Pfeiffer might make her MCU debut in Avengers: Infinity War

We learned last year that Michelle Pfeiffer would be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Ant-Man And The Wasp as Janet Van Dyne, the long-lost wife of Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, but there’s a chance we might be seeing her even sooner than that. Speaking with The Guardian, longtime MCU featured player Sebastian Stan gushed about how cool it was filming the new Avengers movies, and he noted at one point that he was in a big scene that included Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Douglas, and… Michelle Pfeiffer.

It’s implied that Stan (who plays Bucky Barnes) is referring to a scene in Avengers: Infinity War, since that’s what he was doing press for, so that seems to mean that Pfeiffer could be popping up alongside the rest of the Marvel team when they get their butts kicked by Thanos next week. However, it seems more likely that he was referring to something in the yet-untitled Avengers 4, which was filmed back-to-back with Infinity War.

Samuel L. Jackson said in 2017 that he won’t be in Infinity War, so that means Stan was either talking about Avengers 4 or that Jackson was fibbing a bit. We won’t know which is the case until Infinity War comes out, but at least that’s happening very soon.
