It’s always fun when artists release new music without any fanfare, but a surprise release from rapper J. Cole may have just been spoiled by some iTunes detective work. As discovered by HipHop-N-More, a pre-order page for a new J. Cole album popped up on a few international iTunes store pages early this morning, with the album information listing a release date of next Friday, December 9.
The album is titled 4 Your Eyez Only, which is a pretty funny name for something secret like this, and the iTunes listing doesn’t include any titles, lengths, or prices for the individual tracks. There is album art, however, which suggests that 4 Your Eyez Only is a real thing and not just some bizarre glitch. You can see the art below:
