Jack Sparrow meets a ghost shark in the latest Pirates Of The Caribbean trailer

Here’s another trailer for the latest Pirates Of The Caribbean movie that will come trudging your way this summer. The fifth in the franchise involves yet another maniacal, undead man of the sea hunting for Johnny Depp’s still bewildered Captain Jack Sparrow. This time the villain is played by Javier Bardem, chewing the scenery right alongside Depp. Sparrow aligns himself with two heroic youngsters played by the blandly handsome Brenton Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario, whose character is treated like a sex object despite apparently being a ”brilliant” astronomer, according to the plot summary.

And—hold up—is that a ghost shark jumping through the air? Indeed it is. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, and opens May 26.
