Jack White scores first ever No. 1 album with Blunderbuss

The A.V. Club really likes the new Jack White album, but does our opinion really matter in the grand scheme of things? In this case, maybe! White's first solo record, Blunderbuss, is his first album of any kind (whether with The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, or The Dead Weather) to hit No. 1 on the Billboard albums chart. Blunderbuss sold 138,000 copies, which was enough to unseat the blockbuster that is Lionel Richie's country music album Tuskegee. So, congrats to White for rescuing the nation, if only for one week, from this:
