James Blake hints at Bon Iver collaboration on Twitter

In a partnership that could only be engineered in a laboratory with the expressed purpose of producing the world’s highest, weepiest, and most painfully emotional falsetto sound, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and James Blake appear ready to work in the studio together. Lest you get too excited (or filled with righteous indignation), this is all based on a tweet sent by Blake this morning that reads simply: "24th August 2011 – James Blake & Bon Iver 'Fall Creek Boys Choir'." The Fall Creek reference is to Vernon’s Wisconsin recording studio, and “boys choir” certainly nods to the sweetly angelic sounds they’ll make together. That is, unless Blake is simply sharing the title of his favorite Bon Iver-themed mixtape. [Via Pitchfork]
