James Bond and Jurassic World: Here’s what’s on sale on Amazon today

In an effort to both serve our readers and help support The A.V. Club, we are going to post daily links to deals and interesting items that we find over on Amazon. If you use these links to click through and buy something—not just the thing you clicked—on Amazon, we will see a portion of that income. You don’t have to do that if you don’t want to, but if you do, know that we appreciate it.

Peppa Pig ($1.99 per episode or $12.99 per season)

This show is part of Amazon’s August TV sale. Catch up on all your favorite shows before the new seasons start this fall. You won’t want to be caught lacking at the watercooler when the big Peppa Pig discussions happen.

Ian Fleming’s James Bond books ($7.48 each)

These books are classics, and their new, modern covers make them even cooler.

The Last Kingdom season one ($9.99)

A historical drama that The A.V. Club calls “full of life,” The Last Kingdom takes viewers on a grisly trip to 9th-century England.

Jurassic World 3-D limited-edition gift set ($12.96 on DVD, $17.99 on Blu-ray)

For slightly more than the price of a regular Jurassic World DVD, you can get this version, which features two model dinosaurs fighting. The choice here seems obvious.

Hotel Transylvania 2 ($9.33 on DVD, $10.49 on Blu-ray)

We said this movie is “both more pleasing and maybe more dangerous than some of [its] competition.”

Concussion ($9.99 on DVD)

Who wouldn’t want to watch a brutal movie about racism, serious injuries, corporate conspiracies, and lack of belief multiple times? Tell the truth.

Doris Day And Rock Hudson Romantic Comedy Collection ($22.99)

This very “of the time” collection is composed of Pillow Talk, Lover Come Back, and Send Me No Flowers.

Riddick: The Complete Collection ($12.49 on DVD, $21.49 on Blu-ray)

Three Vin Diesel movies for $13? Sounds like a gravel-voiced deal.
