James Corden is the latest man to join Ocean’s Eight

It looks like another man is going to stink up the set of Gary Ross’ Ocean’s Eight, as Deadline is reporting that Late Late Show host James Corden has joined the cast of the ostensibly female-led spin-off of Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s movies. Matt Damon and Damian Lewis will be in the film as well, with Damon presumably playing the same character he played in the other Ocean’s movies, and Lewis playing the new movie’s villain. Deadline says Corden will be “an insurance investigator” who becomes suspicious of Sandra Bullock and her crew, adding that it will be “a good part” and “a good opportunity to scout for future Carpool Karaoke candidates.”

Speaking of Bullock’s crew, Ocean’s Eight will also star Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, and Sarah Paulson. It’s set to be in theaters on June 8, 2018.
