The Room director and star Tommy Wiseau’s background has long been shrouded in mystery, from his birthplace to the source of his fortune. James Franco, even after directing and starring in a movie about the man, still sees Wiseau as an enigma. On the red carpet for The Disaster Artist, we spoke with Franco about the prevailing mystery surrounding Wiseau.
