James McAvoy is selling the shirt he wore to the Oscars

Don’t worry, James McAvoy hasn’t fallen on hard times. No, the Scotland-born actor is selling off his ink-stained dress shirt for a much more charitable reason. According to a new post on the charity auction platform Prizeo, McAvoy is offering fans a chance to win the shirt he wore to this year’s Oscars Ceremony in order to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House in New York. But this isn’t any ordinary shirt. As you can see in photos taken at the Vanity Fair after-party, this particular garment has been vandalized with the signatures of Hollywood’s brightest stars.

Brie Larson, Frances McDormand, Charlize Theron, Amy Adams, Samuel L. Jackson, and Michael B. Jordan are just a handful of the dozens of names plastered on this (probably really expensive) white dress shirt. In the body of the post, McAvoy admits that getting his famous friends to draw all over his shirt was a bit of a drunken idea and that might explain why some of the signatures are illegible and still being deciphered. But, for just ten dollars, you’ll have the chance to win this shirt for yourself, after which you can decode the signatures at your leisure.

“It will be cleaned, unless you don’t want it to be, which is just weird,” McAvoy says at the end of his video address. “But it’s for a good cause, so we’ll understand.”
