Jamie Lee Curtis to star in non-yogurt-related-horror series for ABC Family
Building on the years she’s spent terrifying audiences with ghastly visions of their digestive systems, yogurt monster Jamie Lee Curtis is attached to star in a new horror series for ABC Family, in which she will once more spoon-feed the wisdom of age and living regularly to a repulsed younger audience. Curtis’ Halloween H20 director Steve Miner has scripted a horror drama for her titled The Final Girls, which concerns a group of young ladies “who have, in essence, survived their own personal horror stories and are brought together by a mysterious older woman (Curtis) to channel the stress and scars of their experience for some greater good.” Curtis will help these girls purge their demons smoothly, enabling them to push them through without undue straining, and leaving them feeling noticeably lightened and carefree, ready to take on the day. The exact nature of those girls’ “personal horror” stories has yet to be revealed, though seeing as it’s ABC Family, they likely involve killing everyone around them by having premarital sex.
