Jane folds
As discovered by the magazine's staffers this morning, publisher Condé Nast has lowered the ax on Jane. The women's magazine was founded by Jane Pratt in 1997 as a grownup version of her defunct teen mag Sassy, though Pratt left Jane two years ago during a slump in sales and circulation that the publication has never recovered from. No news yet on where women age 19-34 will now be able to find love advice from Anthony Kiedis or information on 42 skimpy (not skanky) outfits.
