Jane promises a Sin Rostro reveal

Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Monday, February 2. All times are Eastern.

Top pick

Jane The Virgin (The CW, 9 p.m.): Jane is Monday’s top pick again? Well, yes, because the two-part Better Call Saul premiere doesn’t start until next week and because no matter how many Monday night series return or begin, Jane pretty firmly maintains its status as the best thing about Mondays. But this week is also a pretty special week for Jane The Virgin, as the writers have promised we’re going to find out who Sin Rostro is once and for all tonight. So now’s the time to get in your last theories for how this reveal is going to go down. Is Abuela secretly the criminal mastermind? Is it really Rafael like Michael thinks? Or Rafael’s father like Rose thinks? Or is Rose casting suspicion on her husband because it’s really her? I guess we’ll all know soon enough! Petra’s past also catches up to her, and shady things are still afoot behind the scenes on The Passions Of Santos, where Jane’s writing gig is going well…until she finds out she has to write her father’s death scene. We also learned last week that EGOT winner Rita Moreno will be joining the cast this season as Rogelio’s mother.

Also noted

The Originals (The CW, 8 p.m.): It’s almost time for the big wedding day for Jackson and Hayley, who, once married through an old pack ritual, will basically become wolf royalty once and for all and grant their pack the powers to control when they transform between their wolf and human states. But there’s one part of this ritual they’ll have to go through first if they hope to make it work: a truth-telling ceremony. That’s right: In order for the magical wedding to do it’s thang, Jackson and Hayley have to confess all of their secrets to each other. This doesn’t make Klaus happy one bit, but what does? Meanwhile, Rebekah makes a friend in the asylum.
