Janet Jackson announces rescheduled tour dates

Last year, Janet Jackson abruptly canceled her world tour in support of her album Unbreakable so she could have a baby, and now—finally—she has announced when the newly rescheduled tour will happen. Now dubbed the “State Of The World Tour” in honor of the Rhythm Nation 1814 song, Jackson says the tour is “not about politics. It’s about people, the world, relationships, and just love.” She explained that bit in a YouTube video, in which she also thanked fans for their patience and apologized for taking so long to announce when she’d continue her tour.

The new dates are hitting a ton of North American cities, with the tour kicking off in September and running until December. You can see the full list of dates below.
