Jared Leto pens a sweet tribute to his friend, Chester Bennington

Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, died earlier this week, in what authorities have declared a suicide. Tributes to Bennington have continued to pour out in the following days, from Run The Jewels dedicating a set to him on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, to kind words from his friends in Blink-182, who were forced to announce earlier today that they’d be canceling a two-show mini-tour with Linkin Park.

Meanwhile, actor and Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto penned a longer tribute to his friend, writing on social media that, “When I think of Chester, I remember his smile.” Calling Bennington an “absolute legend,” Leto paid heartfelt tribute to the Linkin Park rocker.
