Jason Segel and Lakeith Stanfield talk about the appeal of their new film, Come Sunday

Based on a true story, Netflix’s new film Come Sunday follows renowned pastor Carlton Pearson, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, who puts his family and reputation at risk when he questions the church doctrine and his own belief in a vengeful God. Jason Segel and Lakeith Stanfield co-star as Henry, Pearson’s fellow church founder and primary business manager, and Reggie, the church’s music director and organist, respectively. Both were on hand at the world premiere to talk to us about the film’s theme and the allure of the project.
