Jaume Collet-Serra to team up with Liam Neeson once more for The Commuter
Jaume Collet-Serra and Liam Neeson each have a particular set of skills that they seem to think are best utilized when working together: Collet-Serra has directed (with varying degrees of success) an unofficial trilogy of films that star Neeson as an aging badass who regularly comes across nefarious plots. Still, the actor and director will team up once more for a movie that will undoubtedly feature Neeson dispatching low-level thugs and crime bosses alike with German-like efficiency. Deadline reports that Collet-Serra has signed on to direct Neeson in The Commuter, which is yet another movie that will place Neeson in a confined setting—this time, a commuter train—to discover a “criminal conspiracy” before almost certainly bringing it to an end. If you’re tempted to feel bad for the villains, don’t—train travel is inefficient enough already without the delays created by anyone dumb enough to provoke a Liam Neeson character.
