JAY-Z heads to Jamaica for “Bam,” the third visual off of 4:44

In what’s becoming a regular weekly thing, JAY-Z has now released the third “short film”—i.e., music video—for his album 4:44. Like the other two (“The Story Of O.J.” and “4:44”), the full version of the video will start as a Tidal exclusive, but you can watch a preview below. (Also, we just noticed that all the previews for these videos are 44 seconds long, because Jay is apparently very, very determined to stick to his numerical theme.)

This is the first of the 4:44 videos to prominently feature the man himself, wandering Kingston, Jamaica and dipping into the local culture. The video also features Sister Nancy and Damian Marley, son of Bob (both of whom also appear on the song itself), as the two men discuss the impact of reggae on rap.
