Jay-Z’s forthcoming disc is his first since parting ways with long-time label Def Jam, where the veteran rapper-person served a rocky, controversial stint as President. It will be released on Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and distributed through Epic. It will reportedly feature production by Kanye West and some other dudes.
The Billboard article announcing the release date contains the following unintentionally hilarious sentence: “Sam Crespo, VP of Rap Promotions at Atlantic Records who goes by the twitter name TheCrespo, first confirmed the news in a Twitter posting yesterday afternoon. The post was removed hours later. A MissInfo.tv blog posting also revealed the details but was subsequently removed.”
