Fans of Jeff Bridges’ country crooning in Crazy Heart include Jeff Bridges, who was so enamored of his turn as boozy singer and poor surrogate father figure Bad Blake that he will now record an album for EMI. (Bridges made a previous foray into folk-rock and roots music with 2000's Be Here Soon.) Not surprisingly, the tunes will be co-written with and produced by his fellow Oscar-winning team of Ryan Bingham and T Bone Burnett. Meanwhile, Beau Bridges has yet to interest his brother in finally releasing that Fabulous Baker Boys record. Ah, just kidding, Beau Bridges. You seem like a nice guy. Thanks for taking our cheap little jokes in stride.
