Vulture reports that Jenna Elfman will become the latest actor to guest star on The Mindy Project, playing the latest disposable love interest designed to keep the will-they/won’t-they tension alive between Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina's characters. Elfman will play a “a crisis-management publicist who ‘sexually dominates’ Danny.” She joins the ranks of James Franco, Bill Hader, Chloë Sevigny, Allison Williams, Ed Helms, Seth Rogen, Anders Holm, and B.J. Novak on the list of guest stars who have been brought in so far to distract Mindy and Danny from realizing they're meant for one another.
