Jennifer Lawrence to play “a mess” in film with new friend Amy Schumer

It’s a well-documented truth by this point that not only do Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer look as though they could be related, they actually really like each other and will play sisters in a film they’re writing together. Now the younger half of the budding friendship has revealed a few details on how the two will pal it up on screen: Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Lawrence commented, “Amy, in this movie, she has it very together. It’s her lifelong dream to be a flight attendant. She works at the airport, and I’m a MESS.”

So there you have it. Lawrence won’t just be any regular old “mess,” but the much more aggressive “MESS,” and given her penchant for mostly serious roles, she’s presumably enjoying the idea of swinging fully toward the opposite side of the scale. As for who else might join in on the fun, apparently it’s set to be largely a girls club. “No, no, no, no, no…There’s not really boys in it,” said Lawrence. Sorry, Bradley Cooper.
