Jennifer Lopez proved she could excel at thriller trash with The Boy Next Door, and now she’s teaming up with Universal Pictures once again. This time, J. Lo has signed up for a relatively less terrifying comedy pitch currently titled Mothers I’d Like To…, an idea we assume is not at all associated with MILF Island. The pitch is based on an idea from Lopez’s producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and will be written by Mark Perez. Lopez is set to produce along with Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina.
Based on the title alone, it’s quite possible that the film could feature yet another dalliance between Lopez and a younger man, but Universal Pictures has so far kept the plot under wraps. Deadline reports that it’ll be a Bridesmaids meets First Wives Club, so presumably J.Lo will get revenge on a cheating husband, get messed up on an airplane, fall several stories on a scaffolding, and get in a mic fight with Rose Byrne all in one movie.
