Jerry Bruckheimer is making a TV show based on a Carrie Underwood song
We have TV shows based on comic books, TV shows based on movies, TV shows based on books, and TV shows based on movies that are based on books, but one artistic medium has surprisingly been spared from being turned into a TV show: song lyrics. Jerry Bruckheimer and Fox are looking to change that with a new six-hour miniseries based on Carrie Underwood’s “Two Black Cadillacs.” Like most Carrie Underwood songs, “Two Black Cadillacs” is about a wife and a mistress teaming up to kill the man who wronged them both, and also they both drive the same car for some reason. The TV version will reportedly follow the same plot, but it’s unclear if both women will still drive the same car.
