Jerry O’Connell to try to break up Jake and Annie on Marry Me
Jerry O’Connell is set to guest star on NBC’s Marry Me as a character who attempts to break up the titular nuptials. O’Connell will appear as Daniel, an old friend of Ken Marino’s Jake who harbors a deep dislike for his onscreen fiancee, Casey Wilson’s Annie, and attempts to shatter the couple’s engagement. We’re guessing Daniel’s plans won’t work out, if only because NBC has already made a bunch of Marry Me promotional swag and it would be a pain to reprint it all to say Nevermind, Don’t.
The Sliders and Stand By Me star has worked prolifically in TV in recent years, guest-starring on shows like The League and Drunk History. He also co-starred last year on CBS’ extremely short-lived bachelor fantasy We Are Men, which was cancelled after only two episodes. O’Connell’s episode of Marry Me, titled “Friend Me,” is set to air in January.
