Jerry Seinfeld to drive more cars, drink more coffee as his web series gets four more seasons

Jerry Seinfeld’s Acura-sponsored series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee wrapped its third season with a sort-of Seinfeld reunion, pairing Seinfeld with Jason Alexander and Wayne Knight—both of whom reprised their roles as George Costanza and Newman, respectively. That high-profile end to season three was followed by Comedians In Cars being renewed for two additional seasons, yet, as the web series went on to crest 40 million plays through streaming provider Crackle, Acura has decided to re-up for four more. Those additional 24 episodes will take Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee to nine seasons total, securing Seinfeld’s future of driving around in impractical vehicles with comedy greats, until he either becomes allergic to caffeine or decides he wants to get into cycling.
