Jesse Eisenberg compares Comic-Con to “some kind of genocide”

In what his publicist is probably trying to spin as a Method stunt at this very moment, Jesse Eisenberg, DC’s new Lex Luthor, compared Comic-Con to “some kind of genocide” in a recent interview. Eisenberg was asked about his experience at the premiere of his new movie The End Of The Tour, a decidedly more modest film than Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, the tentpole superhero movie for which Eisenberg was forced to attend the con.

“It is like being screamed at by thousands of people. I don’t know what the experience is throughout history, probably some kind of genocide. I can’t think of anything that’s equivalent,” Eisenberg said, having presumably never attended an arena rock concert, or, for that matter, a genocide. And he didn’t even have to go out onto the con floor, an experience best described as like a feedlot, but smellier.
