Dwayne Johnson is a pretty tough dude who has no problem punching his way through stuff like the Fast And Furious movies and Rampage, but he may have met his match in Jesse Plemons, a guy who also seems to be in everything and also has a knack for effortlessly tearing shit up—like when he killed a guy in Friday Night Lights and every other character was so scared of him that they pretended to completely forget about it. These two titans of toughness are going to face off in The Jungle Cruise, an upcoming Disney movie based on the amusement park ride of the same name, with a Variety story explaining that Plemons will play “one of the film’s villains.”
Other than Johnson and Plemons, The Jungle Cruise will feature Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramirez, and Jack Whitehall. Variety doesn’t say what the plot will involve, but it seems very safe to assume that there will be a boat, a jungle, and a jokey tour guide.
