Jessica Chastain will also be doing something in Christopher Nolan's Interstellar

Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar promises to delve deep into the stars of both our universe and last year’s awards season, hiring Jessica Chastain to join Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway in the film as one of its three leads. As with McConaughey’s and Hathaway’s roles—and as with the plot of the film itself—pretty much nothing is known beyond that. We’ve reported before that the script draws from the theories of Caltech astrophysicist Kip Thorne regarding wormholes and time travel, telling a story of “a heroic interstellar voyage to the farthest borders of our scientific understanding” that’s currently limited to baking soda plus vinegar equals cool volcano. And Chastain previously went looking for things no one else could see in Zero Dark Thirty, so we suppose she could be doing something like that again. “I’m the motherfucker who found that traversable wormholes can exist within the spacetime continuum if they’re connected by quantum fields with negative renormalized energy,” maybe.
