Jim Carrey and Alice Cooper unite for benefit concert

Jim Carrey and Alice Cooper seem like an odd combination, considering that one of them is known for scaring people with crazy stuff on his face while the other had a memorable role in a beloved comedy film, but a good cause can bring all sorts of people together. As reported by Rolling Stone, Carrey recently joined Cooper onstage at his annual New Year’s Eve Maui benefit concert, which raises money for the Maui Food Bank and the Maui Arts And Cultural Center in Hawaii, and the two sang a pair of songs together.

Sporting a Letterman-in-retirement beard, his own version of Cooper’s trademark facepaint, and an incongruous Hawaiian shirt, Carrey performed “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and “School’s Out” with Cooper and the backing band. He did a respectable job, possible due to both songs being pretty straightforward, and you can see videos of the event below.
