Jim Gaffigan discusses the long and short of long and short comedy sets

On a recent episode of The A.V. Club Hosted By John Teti, John sat down with veteran comedian Jim Gaffigan for a chat about his busy, funny career. Naturally there was more interview than we could use on the show, so here’s an outtake in which Gaffigan talks about the difference between a “tight five” and the lengthier sets that are now his bread and butter.
