Jimmy Fallon and Stevie Nicks recreated the "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" video
From time to time, Jimmy Fallon will slap on a wig, convince some storied and legendary guest to also slap on a wig, and then attempt to recreate a famous performance. He’s done it with Springsteen, he had Kevin Bacon drop some Footloose science recently, and last night he played Tom Petty to Stevie Nicks’ “1980s-era Stevie Nicks” for a fairly spot-on recreation of the “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” video. Granted, Nicks’ face hasn’t aged in tandem with her fluffy, beaded wig, but Fallon looks pretty convincing in Petty’s butt-cut and big white tennis shoes. The tandem introduction from Nirvana’s Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic is pretty cute, too.
