John Hodgman will play a radio rival to Dan Castellaneta on Parks And Recreation

Wamapoke County Public Radio host Derry Murbles, played by The Simpsons' Dan Castellaneta, was introduced in Parks And Recreation’s fourth season episode “Born & Raised,” when Leslie Knope went on his Thoughts For Your Thoughts to promote her book about Pawnee. Now, in the show’s sixth season, after Pawnee has absorbed the bankrupt Eagleton, it seems Murbles will join the Parks Department as one of the town's many public entities dealing with merging employees: Entertainment Weekly reports that John Hodgman will play August Clementine, a snobby Eagletonian radio host who doesn’t mesh well with Murbles at the station. Hodgman is the latest in a long string of notable guest stars on this season of Parks: Kristen Bell, Heidi Klum, Henry Winkler, Tatiana Maslany, and Sam Elliott have all appeared in various episodes. Perhaps like past guest star Patton Oswalt, who got to expound on his vast pop culture knowledge while improvising a filibuster speech, Hodgman will get to throw in a bit of his dynamite Ayn Rand impersonation.
