We previously reported on the not-at-all-insane sounding animated film Animal Crackers when the initial voice cast, including names like Ian McKellen and Danny Devito, was announced. Now, apparently two more actors thought it was a good idea to be in a movie about a magical box of animal crackers that turn you into the animal whose shape you devour as Variety reports that John Krasinski and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting have joined the cast. This paean to voodoo magic is ostensibly about a family whose life is shaken up when they inherit a run-down circus along with said box of demonic cookies, but we’re guessing that the film makes a sharp turn into The Serpent And The Rainbow territory at some point. Animal Crackers is currently scheduled for a summer 2016 release.
