Chrissy Teigen has been keeping busy as the color commentator on Spike’s Lip Sync Battle, and now her husband John Legend is set to produce an a cappella competition series for Pop, the channel formerly known as the TV Guide Channel.
Legend’s latest project—which the newly minted Oscar winner will executive produce alongside production partners from Get Lifted Film Co., Ty Stiklorius, and Mike Jackson—is a documentary series that will follow the behind-the-scenes action and drama of collegiate a cappella teams as they try to win one of the highest awards in the world of music-less singing. It might not have the holy a capella trinity of Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Anna Camp, but we’re crossing our fingers that at least one contestant says “aca-scuse me.”
