John Travolta and Ethan Hawke, two actors who have somehow never appeared in the same movie, will soon make games of six-degrees-of-Kevin-Bacon easier by co-headlining In The Valley Of Violence, a Western directed by Ti West. The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the film will take place in the 1890s and will concern a revenge scheme, but plot details are otherwise sketchy. The real interest here may be in seeing young horror mainstay West, who made The House Of The Devil and the upcoming The Sacrament, take on a larger budget than usual. Also, it’s his first oater, despite a totally apropos surname. Dust off those punning skills, hack critics, because West is about to head west, this West is about to get wild, etc.
