The wordless minute-long teaser for Three—the latest from prolific Hong Kong virtuoso Johnnie To—doesn’t even establish that modicum of a premise, instead focusing on the dynamically composed and staged action that has become To’s signature.
Three will hit theaters in Hong Kong on June 24. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a U.S. release soon after.
