Johnny Marr announces a string of North American tour dates
With Morrissey cancelling tour dates and sitting in a hospital with a bleeding ulcer and something called Barrett’s esophagus, it’s high time Johnny Marr pick up the ex-Smiths touring banner and hit the road. Luckily, that’s exactly what he’s doing this April. With his solo debut, The Messenger, due out Feb. 26, Marr has scheduled a string of North American shows behind it, including two stops at the Coachella festival and two dates playing with New Order.
