Continuing to prove that there is a place on TV for talented improvisers beyond Sonic commercials, Parks And Recreation has hired comedian and Delocated star Jon Glaser for multiple episodes in its next season. Glaser will be playing one of Pawnee's city councilmen, an orthodontist who, according to showrunner Michael Schur, " becomes Leslie’s nemesis. He doesn’t find her interesting or charming at all, and doesn’t care about her bright-eyed, bushy-tailed attitude toward making the town better… He just doesn’t like her." Well clearly, he would have preferred Paul Rudd. Speaking of references, can we make it through this entire post without using the words "Bone Zone" for no discernible reason? No. No we cannot.
