TLC's controversy-plagued reality show hit Jon & Kate Plus Eight is soon to undergo a change to emphasize, in the words of a TLC press release, "Kate’s role in the family and her journey as a single mother building the next chapter in her life." Whither Jon? The press release continues: "TLC will continue its exclusive relationship with Jon Gosselin and he will continue to appear on the show, but on a less regular basis."
So we can now all rest easy knowing this family has finally gotten its shit together and has found the perfect balance between parenting, individuality, and the pressures of reality TV stardom. Whew.
