Jordan Peele’s next movie will arrive in March 2019
Whatever Jordan Peele devising for his Get Out follow-up will arrive March 15, 2019, according to The Hollywood Reporter. At this point, we really have no idea what this “social thriller” at Universal is going to be about. But THR does note that Peele will be working with a lot more money this time around, as apparently the budget for the project is “five times bigger” than Get Out’s $5 million. That movie ended up making nearly $230 million worldwide, making Peele the first black writer-director to have a first film reach $100 million.
Earlier this month, news broke that Peele’s company Monkeypaw Productions had entered a first-look deal with Universal for his next movie, as well as a number of “micro-budgeted” endeavors with Jason Blum of Blumhouse.
