Joseph Arthur pays tribute to his pal Lou Reed with "Walk On The Wild Side"
Lou Reed died just months ago, but Joseph Arthur has already produced a tribute LP. Lou is out May 13 on Vanguard Records, and attempts to pay tribute to the Velvet Underground great. While Arthur and Reed were close personally and professionally, it still had to be a daunting task for the young singer-songwriter to take on his friend’s classic work. A.V. Club readers can check out how he did below, where we’re exclusively premiering Arthur’s video for “Walk On The Wild Side.” Those who like what they hear can pre-order Lou via Vanguard Records, Amazon, or iTunes.
Arthur is also on tour this spring, and dates are below.
