Whether it’s the politically charged “what if” scenarios of The Handmaid’s Tale and The Man In The High Castle, the technological nightmares of Black Mirror and Electric Dreams, or the upcoming (and controversial) Confederacy, there’s no shortage of imagined dystopias on television right now. Also on that list is USA’s dystopian sci-fi series Colony, which imagines a future in which humanity lives under a regime of military (alien) occupation. We asked Colony stars Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies why they think dystopian fiction is so popular at the moment.
