Judi Dench on how she prepared—or didn't—to play Queen Victoria for the second time

Victoria & Abdul depicts the relationship between Queen Victoria, played by Judi Dench, and her servant Abdul Karim (Ali Fazal). Funnily enough, this is the second time Dench has played Victoria, the first time being in the 1997 film Mrs. Brown, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award.
