Now would be a good time to take our minds ever so briefly off our self-immolating world. And while this video from Veep’s Sam Richardson and Matt Walsh was actually intended to cheer up their costar Julia Louis-Dreyfus during chemo, we think it can work as a balm for all our souls right now. Louis-Dreyfus opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis back in September.
Okay, so their performance isn’t entirely free of references to the flood of sexual assault and harassment allegations, but it does make a good point about how good things end up tainted by their creators’ misdeeds, and how even the worst people can produce a kernel of truth. But mostly, it’s a solid rendition of “Eye Of The Tiger.”
