Superman has two mommies, and one of those is now Julia Ormond, who is currently negotiating to play Lara Lor-Van opposite Russell Crowe’s Jor-El as one-half of the Kryptonian power couple that sent their baby hurtling across the universe in a rocket for his own “safety.” Ormond’s casting completes most of the major roles in Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel, as Kevin Costner and Diane Lane have already signed on to play the pleasant Midwesterners tasked with raising their alien foundling to be the grown-up Henry Cavill, Amy Adams has already been confirmed to play Lois Lane, and Michael Shannon and Antje Traue are on board to star as archvillains Zod and Faora. Though we suppose there could also be a Jimmy Olsen announcement at some point. Who will play Jimmy Olsen, America? A nation holds its breath…
